Where do your loyalties lie? We may be rather on the Dark side, but we welcome you all. Hogwarts students, Professors, Shopkeepers and elves, Death Eaters and Aurors and more!
Who will you choose to be...?

Our plot started after the 'Half Blood Prince' episode and is now at the Deathly Hallows stage. We are following our own plot but it will have some canon parallels with the last book. We recommend you read all the books before roleplaying here, but you are not absolutely required to read last book beforehand, since we write our own plots.

Harry and Co. are 19/20 years old, meaning they are no longer students at Hogwarts, and the Wizarding World is becoming an even more dangerous place than ever before. People are still doubting Harry Potter and his popularity is flagging, but there is a race to find one of the Hallows and the remaining Horcruxes. What part will you play in our story? Please read along this side table to help you learn more about the site and the plotlines.

If you do not want to roleplay, you are still very welcome - please do still read The (Muggle) Decrees first, then make your way over to the Witching Hour and join in with our OOC chat! You can also join in with our competitions and games, and our Duelling game too if you wish.

Part 2: 'The Elder Wand'.

Harry faces an increasingly isolated and painful time as he is hunted by Death Eaters after double-crosses Lord Voldemort, with the added heartbreak of loosing the trust of his friends and the almost the whole of the Wizarding World labelling him as a traitor. His only comfort is the Resurrection Stone, one of the legendary Hallows, that was given to him by Lord Voldemort as an emotional bribe to join him, but he must be careful not to loose his mind to it. Now, Harry must prove his return to fight against the dark forces at large and redeem himself to all those who once had faith in him. But in the meantime, Voldemort is not far away from discovering the Elder Wand and an incident regarding the Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, means that the Death Eaters are not the only ones after Harry...
Part I: 'Novus Universitas'

Lord Voldemort has taken over Azkaban, cloaking it invisible and turning it into a private base and training grounds for the Death Eaters. Meanwhile, the Ministry are failing to bring calm back to the Wizarding World and Harry is still refusing to help them. The Order are frantically recruiting and the trio are trying to persuade the Order to train up the DA to boost the Auror count and Harry's protection.

Voldemort is now seeking the Elder Wand and Harry is still yet to learn of the Hallows. Harry and his friends need to work quickly before it's too late and before Voldemort manages even more of a grip over the increasingly frail Wizarding World...

DARK MARK OVER HOGSMEADE!
The calling card of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named mysteriously appeared over Top Meadow in Hogsmeade. It is unknown for what reason it was left, as there were no attacks or Death Eater presence in the immediate vicinity. Rumours of You-Know-Who himself visiting Hogsmeade, the nearest Wizarding settlement to Hogwarts, amd more disturbingly, the cloaked Azkaban, are abound but are unproven. The Ministry assures the Daily Prophet that some of its best agents are investigating.

DOUBLE MURDER IN HOGSMEADE?
Hogsmeade village, it seems, has been rife with dark activity of late. Two women were murdered in an incident that seems unrelated to the mysterious Dark Mark. It has been rumoured that the victims were killed by vampires, but according to the Ministry, further investigations are proceeding. In the meantime, most apothecaries and street vendors are offereing buy-one-get-one-free garlic bulbs for the rest of the month for worried customers.

YET ANOTHER YETI SIGHTING !
A poor Muggle girl and her boyfriend have approached the Muggle media regarding a close call with a black Yeti in Poland, who apparently took an interest in the Muggle girl as she sunbathed. A Magical Creature expert from the Beast Division of the MoM has joined the Muggle Yeti-Hunters undercover after receiving a tip-off from the Muggle Government and had this to say: 'Yeti's are one of the Wizarding Worlds worst kept secrets as there had been so many Muggle sightings. We are receiving calls to establish an International Task Force in Poland as they do in Tibet so that we can place charms on the area to try and avoid any more possible sightings'.

CHARMING LUNATIC ON THE LOOSE Famed explorer and writer Gilderoy Lockhart has been spotted wandering the streets of London. The celebrity should currently be held in St. Mungos for treatment following his accident at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry years ago. It is unknown how he escaped or indeed where he intends to go, but readers are advised to pass on any information they may have to St. Mungos and not to fall victim to his famously enchanting smile.

	Unplottable Manors and other Wizarding Homes Malfoy Manor isn't the only old Wizarding mansion of the UK - there are a series of old manors owned by the 'upper class' old Wizarding families that are almost as grand and also Unplottable and invisible to Muggles.
